What is NEET MDS?
Every year, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery, or NEET MDS exam, is administered online using computerized methods to select candidates for around 6200 MDS seats, with 50% allocated to states and 50% allocated to the All India Quota. There are no other exams that are acceptable for MDS admission in India, either at the states or universities level. NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking exam. Latest Update About NEET MDS Exam 2024

For 50% of the All India Quota seats, only those candidates on the merit list are qualified to take part in the counselling process. On August 25, 2024, the NEET MDS 2024 Counseling Round 2 results will be declared publicly.
The qualifying NEET MDS Cut off percentile is 40 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories, 45 for GN/EWS-PwD, and 50 for GN/EWS. The equivalent qualifying scores are 238 for SC, ST, and OBC, 255 for GN-PwD, and 272 for GN/EWS.

Eligibility Requirements for NEET MDS Exam

NEET MDS Application Form Process
How to Fill Online Application Form for NEET MDS Exam?
To complete the NEET MDS Application Form, follow these four main steps:
- Profile Creation: When a candidate applies on the NBE website for the very first time, they will be required to Sign up with a profile. Applicants with previous applications can use their login credentials. For security purposes, a Captcha will need to be entered.
- Application Form Filling: Selecting the examination from the drop-down menu is the first step in completing the NEET MDS application form. To continue, candidates must choose to take the Master of Dental Surgery National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. After visiting the personal details page, candidates will be required to submit their necessary personal details.
- Exam Center Selection: NEET MDS is scheduled to take place all over India. Applicants can pick the NEET MDS examination center that best suits their reachability. First come, first served process will apply to the exam center’s allocation.

NEET MDS Application Correction

NEET MDS Exam Counselling Process
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the NEET MDS counseling procedure for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The participating institutions for the NEET MDS counselling procedure include dental colleges all over India that provide MDS courses. Eligible students must register and fill out options for the courses they want and colleges as part of the totally online NEET MDS counseling process.
